Assistant Manager

We have a vacancy for an experienced Assistant Manager who will be responsible for overseeing the day to day running of all operations - front office, events, bar and restaurant.

When on duty you will have full accountability for the hotel - acting as Duty Manager, ensuring that all guest requirements are dealt with to the best possible standards.

The ideal candidate will;

Experienced existing Duty Manager or a strong food and beverage supervisor
Ideally you will have good all round experience in all departments
Positive and very guest focused
Be able to manage, lead, develop staff
Have a hands on approach to management and will not be afraid to get involved with the day to day running of the hotel
Have excellent presentational, interpersonal & communication skills
Personality and team focus is key in this crucial role in this friendly and busy hotel.

Salary

Negotiable, depending on skills, experience and what the candidate can bring to the role. The start date for this position in early February 2009.

Head Housekeeper

Role Criteria:

the ideal Head Housekeeper will have previous 3 or 4 star, boutique/quality hotel experience.
will be responsible for all bedrooms, corridors and public areas have a high standard of hygiene and health and safety
will be responsible for staff development and ensuring high levels of customer service
will be reporting directly into the operations manager
Head Housekeeper must be highly passionate, excellent attention to detail and the ability to continually raise standards

The successful Head Housekeeper will have at least 2 / 3 years experience within a similar operation ie boutique style, quality property.
