Christmas celebrations at the Rose-in-Vale
Christmas at the Rose in Vale is always special. The house lends itself to a fantastic,tradtional,homely Christmas. It is a place were you can relax with friends both old and new whilst you enjoy Christmas as it should be done.
There is always a jigsaw puzzle for you to ponder over and help complete. You can vist some great gardens on Boxing Day thenreturn to open fires and an afternoon tea to welcome you back home.
Sit back and relax by the fire over a Cornish afternoon tea, finish the day with a classic cold pantry supper, a very cosy end to Christmas day.
We are a hotel for adults and so we do not accomodate children under twelve years of age over the Christmas festivites nor for lunch on Christmas Day.
Our plan for Christmas 2010 is as follows:
A Christmas at Rose in Vale begins on Friday 24th December when our guests arrive from around the country. We will be serving mince pies and in front of roaring fires giving you the chance to meet other guests. In the evening there will be Christmas Carols and Mulled wine around the fire before a leisurely dinner.
Christmas Day
Start Off with Bucks Fizz Breakfast and Scrambled Eggs.
Noon Champagne Reception, with Lite Bites.
1'o'clock Christmas Lunch, A 6 Course Lunch with all the Trimmings.
4 O'clock Tea with Christmas Cake.
Cold Buffet Dinner in the Evening.
Boxing Day
We will serve a leisurely late breakfast between 8:30am and 9:45am
Hampers provided for Lunch fpr those who wish to go out for the day, or there will be soup and rolls available at the hotel.
Afternoon Tea, Sandwiches and Cake on Boxing Day with one of Sara's Christmas Quizzes.
