A sun trap in the summer, the heated pool is secluded and surrounded by lawns and flowerbeds. Ten acres of gardens, woodland and pasture around the hotel ensure complete seclusion and privacy. Take a dip in the pool, laze in the sunshine with a cool drink or simply stroll around the grounds just absorbing the tranquillity which is Rose-in-Vale.

A stream meanders through the valley which blooms with an enormous variety of plants and wildflowers. The valley is home to badgers, foxes, rabbits, buzzards, sparrowhawks, jays, woodpeckers, owls and herons as well as a variety of visiting wildfowl on the ponds.

Comfort, style and elegance are reflected all around the Rose-in-Vale, a true English country house. Relax in the drawing room, imbibe the friendly atmosphere of the cocktail bar, browse through the books in the library. Settle in to a comfortable chair by the fire with a good book and a drink in hand.

Morning coffee and cream teas are served in the drawing room, around the pool, or in the gardens. Roses around the windows in summer, cosy open fires in the winter.
